This course will be taught by the Marine Patrol Division of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA)  and is sponsored by the Lake Martin HOBOs Association.  It will be held at the First Baptist Church, 178 S Tallassee Street, Dadeville, starting at 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM.  Anyone 16 years old or younger must be accompanied by an adult. 

Register online and you can pay online with a credit card, or mail your check to Lake Martin HOBOs, P.O. Box 1030, Dadeville AL 36853. We will accept registration and payment at the event if there is still room available.   The maximum class size is 100.   If the class is full or you have any questions, please contact  info@lakemartinhobos.com .  

A test will be given at the conclusion of the course.  Successful students will receive a certificate in the mail about 6 weeks after the course..  The certificate needs to be taken to the nearest Alabama Driver's License office to have the Vessel certification added to your driver's license.
